4A Unit 7 It's late

教学目标:

1、能听得懂、会说和会读日常交际用语:It’s late . What time do you ……?

 I …… at ……./ At ……   See you ……/ Bye ……

2、能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型 What’s the time ? It’s ……

教学重点:

What’s the time ? It’s ……的正确使用及正确时间表达。

教学难点:

1、能正确听、说、读have breakfast

2、正确运用What time do you ……? 及其回答 I……at ……/At……

教学准备:

1、实物:投影片,图片,自制的钟,录音机,磁带。

2、歌曲和小诗准备:《Jack has a clock》,《Go to school》,《Goodbye》。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1、  Say a rhyme Jack has a clock

(投影机上显示内容)

2、  Free talk – Learn the word “late”

T: Hello , boys and girls . Nice to meet you .

Ss: Hello , Miss Xue . Nice to meet you , too .

T: Are you all here ?

Ss: No .

T: Who’s not here ?

Ss: xxx .

T: Where’s he/she ?

Ss: Perhaps he/she is ……

S2: Sorry , Miss Xue . May I come in ?

T: Come in , please . You’re late . Don’t be late again .

Teach : late (板书) (填在题目中间,注上中文)

Read the word : late .

Chant : late , late , don’t late .

T: xx , are you late ?

S: Yes./No.

T: Good !

3、  Count the numbers

 a.       Count 1 to 10

b.       Count 11 to 20

c.       Count 21 to 30

d.       Play a game

 (What’s missing)(Review the numbers from 30 to 100)(写在小黑板上)

Step 2 Presentation

1T: (出示一只钟)Look , what’s this in English ?

Ss: It’s a clock .

T: What’s the time , please ?

S: It’s six thirty-five .

T: Is it time to get up ?

S: Yes . It’s time to get up .

T: What’s the time ?

Ss: It’s six thirty-five .

T and Ss : It’s time to get up .

T: (板书填完整) (领读数遍)

T: What’s the time ? ( 7: 00)

Ss: It’s seven .

T: What can I do ? Guess ! (提示:Get up  / go to school  /go to bed )

Ss: ( Guess )

T: (出示照片) Look !It’s time to have breakfast .

  (出示卡片) have breakfast (吃早饭)

Read the new phrase : have breakfast .

Chant : Breakfast , breakfast , let’s have breakfast .

      Have breakfast , have breakfast , it’s time to have breakfast .

T: What’s the time ?

Ss: It’s seven . It’s time to have breakfast .

2、  Work in pairs

(Finish Part C) (看投影片完成)

3、  Sing a song

T: What’s the time ?

Ss: It’s ……(根据实际情况回答)

T: It’s time to sing

 (Sing the song : < Go to school >)

4、  Learn to say : What time do you ……? I ……at ./At……

T: ( Teacher sings the song again ) The boy goes to school at seven fifteen in the morning .

  What time do you go to school ?(提示At seven / At seven ten / At seven fifteen)

S: At ……

(反复多问几个学生,并引导他们说I go to school at ……)

T: (完成板书)(并领读数遍)

 Work in pairs

T: What time do you get up ?

S: I get up at ……

T: What time do you have breakfast/have lunch/come home/go to bed ?

S: I have breakfast / have lunch / come home / go to bed at …….

Work in pairs ( 采用四小组同时开火车的形式 )

Do a survey (时间允许的话)

5、  Learn the dialogue

T: What’s the time now ?

S: It’s ……

T: It’s time to listen to the tape

  Just now xx is late . Let’s see who is late in the dialogue .

  Open your books please .

S: OK.

( Listen to the tape )

(Read the dialogue)

S: Mike is late .

Step 3 Consolidation

T: Boys and girls , in different countries , the times are not the same . Let’s look
